Convenient for airport if you don't mind either the walk (c 20 mins and the route is not obvious on foot: you have to walk through the car parks to get out of the airport) or you can catch the Yellow Bus. Comfortable clean room. Big supermarket just across the street and a convenient microwave and kitchen eating area in the lobby so it was easy to heat up and eat ready meals. Getting into Auckland is a bit time consuming - you walk down the block to catch the bus to Puhinui Station and then the train, which altogether takes about 45 minutes or so.
