It was a good location to get to other places. The internet worked better at a small coffee shop nearby. The room was too warm with no ability to control. The room was depressing, nothing cheerful about it. We liked the rooftop although it did not have a view of anything.

Love the place, but they didn’t have air-conditioning because it wasn’t the right season and I had had the window open so it was quite noisy. No other complaints though clean great service good food for breakfast.

The bedroom design is odd. The shower and basin is on one end of the bedroom and the toilet, next to the bed on the other side. Whoever designed the rooms has no idea. Toilet odours periodically reached the bed, 1m from the toilet. Shower, basin and washbasin could all have been in one place. Otherwise the staff and service is good.

On arrival, we were worried as the reviews had said the area wasn’t very safe but it was totally fine! The receptionist was friendly and the hotel looked nice. when we got to our room, everything seemed okay until we realised the bathroom situation, the “bathroom” had a massive glass window which looked out to loads of apartments who could see straight into our room, there was a net curtain but you could see straight through it so when we needed to get dressed after a shower everyone could see us! Also when you are in the actual shower there is a glass window at the top which everybody outside can see straight through! Apart from that, the room was clean and looked nice. We payed extra for breakfast in the morning as we were on budget and thought it would end up being cheaper this way. The breakfast was pretty average, not much of a selection and it was just some bread, pastries, fruit etc. If you aren’t on a budget i would recommend getting breakfast outside the hotel in one of the local cafes. Finally the location of the hotel was great! It’s located near a metro station and bus stop and it was walking distance from most things. the beach was only about a 25 min walk which we thought was great! Overall, if you are looking for a budget friendly hotel located near the city centre then it’s great!
