"I book the lodge for the night before my wedding. The host, Jimmy and Michael were very responsive and provided all the details for a smooth check-in. The morning of, we used the space to get ready. It was very spacious and accommodated our wedding party. The area around the lodge was beautiful for photo ops and we had our first look, right outside surrounded by trees. "Nice place to stay that is pretty close (8 miles) to Yosemite. The rooms are all on the second floor up an outside steep staircase if that is difficult for you. They have no front desk there so you have to check in at the Cedar Lodge down the street but that was no big deal. The room had a kitchenette of sorts with a hot plate, dishes etc but we didn’t realize that so didn’t take advantage of it. Friendly staff. Clean room. "
