" Beautiful hotel that has had a lot of work done to it recently. But I was annoyed that we had to pay £5 a day on top of our hotel bill for parking in the hotel carpark. Plus the pillows were very hard & uncomfortable, & there was only one socket available to use in the room. "

"Stayed one night. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Food was excellent. We had lasagne which was really tasty. Breakfast was good. "

Food was amazing and they are always making sure the customers are happy and if there is anything they can do to help the customers, was an absolute delight with my dog, he got lots of attention. The only con was that the rooms are dated and the furniture seems aged but with the new management hopefully this may change. Will definitely return. "

"The receptionist was lovely and welcoming. The room itself was very nice and the beds were very comfortable! The only 'complaint' would be the cleanliness of the bathroom whih was not good (mould on the vents etc.) Overall, the stay was very nice. "

"The history and good situation. I would have liked to have a a menu change for dinner, each evening. We loved to food the first night. And was looking forward to seeing the next day menu. But it was the same. Breakfast was first class. "
