The food was very good: the buffet was amazing particularly the fresh bread and grill, the deserts were okay but I still enjoyed them; the bookable restaurants are not at all authentic but they still offer some tasty food. The drinks weren’t great: beer was good but cocktails were not at all authentic and quite cheaply constructed; however, the coffee was nice but nothing to write home about. "Lovely hotel - excellent location for all main activities in and around Cairo. The hotel is very secure - checks on all vehicles entering. Tour guides could find the hotel easily. Good choice of restaurants in the hotel. Live music in the bar in the evenings - very good. Room was comfortable. Only downside was the pool is very small and very noisy - despite the screening around it, it's impossible not to hear the Cairo traffic."
