"House not very welcoming with chairs on table like a closed cafe. Also, bowls and cups had chips and cracks in them and a few not cleaned well. Saying that, host was very responsive and helpful and answered all our questions. Location was great and house was comfortable. You have to pay for parking on all roads but spaces right outside. "I think Sophie needs to translate her communication to English before she send it as I had to use the translator to understand her message,only because on the site says communication possible in bilingual..also it says sheets available,but £6 A pair I asked for explanation but not clear ended up with no bed bottom sheet and pillow cover ...she is lovely it's my second time with her..all the best"

"Property was clean and tidy and in an ideal location for walking the dog to the village. All the locals are very friendly and the local food store has a very helpful manager given that I had to go out the first night and buy some basics. The property was great with everything you need in an holiday rental apart from two things. The enclosed front garden is a highlight which was great for the dog Mosquitoes at night in the loft bedroom and a very poor and intermittent WiFi signal being...

"Just right for what we needed. 3 pairs of adults stayed here to visit the area. Top floor bedroom had smallish beds but ok. Great price and everything works. Could do with a bit of updating but generally in good order. Lovely and quiet."

"This is a wonderful living space, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely garden. The host was very helpful. For big family gatherings you can book the gite right next door. It has less living space but more than one bathroom."

"Very good stay in St Valery. The cottage was well situated, just a short walk along the river to everything. The peace was only broken by the train at the end of the garden and a seal having his breakfast outside one morning! The stairs are steep and a touch slippy - my teenage daughter fell once, but this had been flagged up by other reviewers, and no one else had a problem. Something to be aware of, if you have mobility issues. It is a charming house - clearly a lot of thought has gone into...

"Les deux gites sont super pour un week-end entre amis ou en famille. Les espaces de vie commune sont hyper conviviaux, et les maisons sont bien équipées pour cuisiner à plusieurs Les seuls petits bémols sont l'absence d'intimité (chambres en enfilades) mais qui est totalement tolérable quand on reste un week-end, et les sanitaires (seulement 3 toilettes pour 25, dont 2 qui avaient des problèmes de chasse d'eau lors de notre séjour) Les procédures d'arrivée et de départ ont été très facilitées...
