"We went for one night. It was a great break from Tokyo hustle. My family of 5 comfortably stayed in two rooms. The host was super friendly, made us breakfast based on our preferences. It was tranquil and quiet. Amazing view of MT FUJI just 5 mins up the street. "

"Chalet Burlap Furanui is an excellent option if visiting Furano for a ski trip (after three visits to Furano previously, this has been the favourite accommodation wrt value for money). Our room was very spacious with an ensuite, the onsite onsen is a massive bonus, and the breakfast is great! Short walk to the ski hill, and the service from everyone working there was excellent. Highly recommend."

"Minatogawa is a small harbor area. It's quiet but chilled out and relaxing. There's nowhere quite like Marinx Classic Harborview Pension. Biggest bed I've had in Japan, great staff, brilliant food. I really needed the chance to relax and I got it. This is an ideal spot to explore Southern and Western Okinawa if you drive. Even for walking There's good beaches nearby and Oujima is a pleasant walk with a lot of friendly cats."

"This was my first time staying at a Pension and it went wonderfully. My reservation was the room for two futons including a private bathroom. The room and facility are very clean. The hosts and owner are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast in the morning was perfect. I will be back again!"

"At check-in, I was not informed shower is only open from 6PM - 11PM and 6AM - 10AM. So, I woke up late next morning and took a shower at 11AM. The next day, I did the same at around 10AM. There was a cleaning lady and I asked if I can take a shower. Then, out of no where an older lady rush in and scream at me in my face and she check everything and shoo me away. "It is only a place to sleep nothing else. It is a little hard to climb stairs and does not suit to people over 50 years old. In Takayama city there are not restaurants to serve breakfast and this property does not provide anything else that good morning and sayonara. "

"Very calm and peaceful designed in a lovely way. Good breakfasts in the morning. Tomoko and her team did a great job of looking after me whilst there and going the extra mile to make me feel more at home and understand the island. You will probably need a car to cruise around the island although no entirely necessary , just a lot more convenient."
