"We stayed for a night for my birthday and my father in laws birthday and we spent the afternoon in front of the fire which was so cosy and relaxing. We then had dinner and had the famous ribs…we were all blown away by the quantity and quality of meat. The staff were incredibly friendly! The room we stayed in was huge and comfortable. Definitely will be returning! A fabulous stay. "

"The Lea gate Inn was an extremely comfortable stay, beds superb. Food fabulous , breakfasts too. Great location for getting to East Kirby, just over 10mins. Staff all really friendly Dog friendly. "

"I will definitely be back at the Red Lion when I’m next in the area, it’s a lovely pub and the rooms which are located just across the car park are excellent. They’re clean, comfy and small touches like crisps and biscuits top off a lovely place. The hosts are very nice and they’re very welcoming within the pub aswell which serves outstanding food. "

"A nice family stay, quiet village pub. The host was very helpful including recommending an evening meal in the next village which was great (fighting cocks pub). It seems the venue has stopped doing food, but having said that she still provided us with a perfectly good breakfast. The room was clean, a nice little street village view, we all slept well. Great for country walking, a family visit and somewhere quieter in a local pub."

"A lovely stay. We were warmly greeted and told our room was ready for us, hours before check in time. Had a delicious lunch and breakfast both of which were good value. Our room was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Would stay there again in we are ever in the area again."
