"The owners of this property are SO helpful, accommodating, and are so quick to respond to your messages and questions. The cabin is so cute and quaint, and has all you'll need for your stay. The pig sanctuary is right across from the cabin, and they really take the time to introduce you to the "residents", (they know all of them by name, and there's over 100 of them!),answer questions, and let you interact with the animals...who LOVE belly rubs, btw! My daughter and I had the BEST time, and...

"We lacked for nothing.The beds were very comfortable and having separate bathrooms was great. All the comforts of home and then some. The enclosed back porch was our favorite hangout at night. It was exactly all we needed and I would rent Hank’s Hideaway again."

"It was a quick getaway for me and my daughter. We had a fishing tournament. The host were great on helping me get inside with the door code. I was having slight problem. It was at 10:00. Appreciate them answering at that time. Place was clean and beds were soft. Bathrooms were modern and clean. It is close to Lake Fork, but on a smaller lake. This is nice as well. Will come back."

"This is a great place for two to getaway and relax. It rained for most of our stay, but we made the most of it hanging out on the front porch under the trees and watching movies late into the night. It is very quiet and has a secluded feel even though there are other cabins nearby. We'll be back."

The hosts are very welcoming and informative about the area and can give you suggestions on what to do and where to go to make the stay more enjoyable. Will definitely be going back!"

"Our cabin was cozy and comfy. It rained our entire stay which was a bummer so we couldn’t explore the property, kayak, or enjoy the hot tub. Really hope to visit during better weather in the future. Kevin was super helpful making sure we could get connected to the TV properly so we could cheer on our Rangers! Would love to see brighter lighting for reading, a tiny table on the side of the bed opposite the window, and a covered hot tub. That last one is a big ask I know but we could have enjoyed...

"We stayed here for the eclipse and really enjoyed the stay. The host is fantastic with excellent communication as we brought our dog and she also has dogs but it was easy to arrange different times to have the dogs out. Her dogs are super friendly, I think my wife wanted to take them home with her. She also has horses which are always a pleasure to see. The cabin is small but really nice. It’s decorated well with lots of amenities. It very comfortable and the Wi-Fi works great for the kids....

"We have stayed in VRBO’s for over 15 years and this was a winner. It was located in a beautiful, peaceful area and easily accommodated 11 children and Adults. They supplied everything you would need to cook and host a small family reunion. We hated to leave. Best of all the check out was the least complicated of any we’ve stayed at. On top of that our grandkids ages 10 to 16 NEVER SAID THE WORDS I’M BOARD! That says it all."

"Country setting just outside of town. Girls weekend to attend Trade Days and it was exactly what we wanted! Morning coffee on the deck overlooking the small lake, games inside during a storm, it was great! Rebooked for next year!"

"There were four of us that stayed at the farm And we all agreed that this was a wonderful experience. It was so nice to wake up and walk out onto the front porch to listen to the world waking up. Very nice and secluded. We were lucky enough to get a tour of the farm and the garden which was actually a highlight of the stay for me. We did walk the nature trails and enjoyed that very much also. Highly recommend this place for anybody staying in the area"

"Jan was a perfect host! She made sure all of our needs were met and even brought us Strawberry Cheesecake dessert! It was storming very badly the day we were to leave and Jan sent us a text to extend our stay if needed because of the weather. That was so nice because i was not sure we were going to make the 11am check out time with tornados in the area."

"We didn't get to take full advantage of the surrounding area of our cabin as it stormed all day Saturday. But, we had a great weekend. It was myself and 2 granddaughters, age 19 and 16. I carried food to cook on the grill, but because of the rain, couldn't do that. The cabin was equipped with 2 gas burners that made it easy to cook indoors. I have been to other cabins in the woods and could not use our phones or watch tv. This cabin had a tv with vcr and video cassette player and the wifi worked...

"I chose this property because of the great reviews. The amenities offered for my children and grandchildren were also important in my decision. Upon rental and before we arrived prompt communication with the owner was very much appreciated. Instructions for home entry, parking, etc were very clear. This house is in a beautiful, quiet community. There was plenty of room inside this large house. The outdoor amenities made it easy to sit and look at the night sky where the stars really are big and...

"My sweet man and I took our first little R&R trip together here. It was a little bit of off season time so the grounds had a lot of dead foliage on the little trails on the property. But that was expected. It was peaceful & would go back again. Great quick getaway! "
