This property is a real gem if you want a clean, well staffed simple room near the train station. Particularly nice for that final, one night stay before leaving the country. My only issue was that there is not a lift and getting a decent sized bag up the small, winding stairs alone, would be tough. They were quick to offer help getting it up but I did have to bring it down the 5 sections of stairs on my own. The room is tiny, but nicely decorated. it had everything I needed and the bathroom was newly renovated. there was no fan or AC so it might be really hot in the summer. there was a window you could open. I would stay again.
Visited the property in May and the weather was warmer than I expected. The room was for me toasty and they dont have air conditioning. Requested a fan which all they had was a desk fan which kept the area next to the bed cooler. The area is great as many options are within walking distance. If you require a/c you may need to rethink that.
Great hotel in an excellent location. The only negative was the 4 flights of stairs to get to our room.

Staff are extremely helpful, although few things which are very important they should look into it. There were no basic toiletries like hand soap and shampoo, just on first day. I took with me probably the staff saw it and that's why they didn't bring it.
They definitely need to do pest control. There was a mice in my room. I bought food and that's was £20. I threw it all away it literally going every where. Spoke to reception and they said they will change my room if I want but that's not solution.
Please put your food somewhere where the mice can't reach. Like they have some top shelves which I used later on.
The rest property condition, heating, toilets all good.
Old hotel and no lift. Up 5 flights of stairs with full size suitcase. Is located close to Paddington station to catch train to Heathrow. It served its purpose. Not very comfortable bed/mattress but was only for one night. Didn’t sleep well. Guests are loud in hallways. I think all these hotels in this area are like that

Standard double - small room but two of us with 2 suitcases managed. Beds comfy. BR small. We stayed two nights, much longer would likely not work. Staff friendly, proximity to Paddington a plus. Can hear (barely) some trains but didn't affect our sleep.
No lift & my mother-in-law could not climb the stairs; staff were very kind & accommodating-moved us to ground floor. A lift is seriously needed. Hot water was limited but room was very clean and comfortable. Would suggest complimentary coffee for guests vs the Nespresso machine that requires £2.20 for a tiny cup of coffee.
Lovely unique hotel the was close to Paddington station and Hyde Park. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our room was up a few flights of stairs, which we didn’t mind, but if that’s an issue please note it

A basic accommodation. Ask about lifts as mobility with stairs could be a problem. Bedding and towels were very high standard of cleanliness. We only stayed one night. There wasn’t any shower gel or shampoo, which would have helped after travelling. Also no kettle or complimentary tea/coffee. My fault for assuming these would be included. However water available from reception free. Tea/coffee available to purchase on ground floor.
No elevator or help moving suitcase to 3rd floor
No in-room toilet
No in-room shower
No in-room tea or even a water cup
Smallest room ive ever been in
Unpleasant front desk
Unclean carpet so kept shoes on
Room and property was very clean and the staff were exceptional friendly and helpful. Easy transport, buses, tubes, trains, direct links to Heathrow. Busy area but felt safe. Plenty of eating options. Would stay here again.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the property is ideally located. The room was small but comfortable. However, I do not recommend getting a room with a shared bathroom - the evening when I arrived the toilet facility was acceptable but in the morning when I was meant to leave it was in such a vile state; someone had had some sort of volcanic eruption in there and their brown 'lava' was everywhere. The shower was also looking quite dirty. Hopefully this was just an oversight and hadn't been discovered by the team yet, but it was really quite unacceptable. But like I said, the room was comfortable and good value and all in all I would book again, if it is possible to book ensuite. The staff did great.
I have stayed here many times within the past year. It’s often the most reasonably priced stay for its location. The rooms are clean, quite small and there are sometimes too many stairs but the price & location always brings me back. Overall, the rooms are clean, stylish, sufficient, quiet, and safe, highly recommended.
Lovely staff. Very helpful. Clean, plenty of hot water
Did not know until I arrived that there was no elevator. Being an older person stairs not that easy to navigate.
Budget hotel in Paddington area. Bright, Clean and simple & basic. Rather nice decor in hall and bedrooms (v nice wallpaper). Still pricey though!
Stayed in a superior Twin room. Comfortable bed and slept very well with earplugs in but all other 3 members of my family slept well though it is a bit noisy in the steers being in central London.
Bathroom very compact but clean and fresh with really lovely washing lotions (smelling heavenly). I would have bigger towels (they are on the small side).
To finish, the soundproofing between floors is not v good. Note that I don’t usually stay in the Budget category Hotels.
Overall as budget hotels go, I would recommend it.
Would not go back to this hotel. Linen smelled unclean. Space was limited. Room did not even have cups/glassess to drink water. No shampoo, no hair dryer.
Room was a little small but no complaints for the relative price. Very clean and comfortable enough. Shared toilet halfway down narrow stairs was awkward for me but otherwise no complaints. Staff very friendly. Would not be reluctant to book again for short stays.
The location to paddington station is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. No breakfast facilities but many places close by. The biggest problem was the hotel us right under the underground so you have constant train noise. Maybe the rooms on higher floors are better. Room clean and efficient.
This is my second stay. The front desk is always very pleasant & helpful. Keep in mind there are very few amenities so be prepared— bring your own bathroom products including shampoo & a hair dryer.
There some positives to this hotel. It is in a very good location and within short walking distance of many stations. It is good as place to sleep for 1 or 2 nights.
However there a number of downsides that people should be aware of. The room I was given has no toilet or shower so I had to share with other guests which isn't stated upfront.
The room was incredibly small and uncomfortable. The stairs are very cramped and steep. There is no air con meaning you have to leave the window open to cool it down. Unfortunately, the area around the hotel is very busy and loud.
However, my main issue was having to leave the room key at the front desk. I have never had this before and felt very uncomfortable doing so.
Great location a short walk from tbe train station. Good room and kept really clean each day. Room temperature was pretty warm and only relief was to open window and use desk top electric fan. Bathroom was good too.
Basic but clean. Unfortunately the old windows rattling in the wind kept me awake. It was very warm even in September and without air con was a bad night's sleep personally. Shared shower was surprisingly good for the price and other similar places I've been
