"I had the perfect stay at the Hawks House Inn. I throughly enjoyed sitting in the enclosed porch drinking my coffee while listening to the morning song birds. Steve is an excellent innkeeper. The inn is in an ideal location to explore mid coast Maine. "

"Great location close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Park right in front of room. Room super clean and bright and nicely decorated and furnished as if recently renovated. Spacious and comfortable. Light breakfast items delivered to room per a checklist guest submits on-line the night before. Keurig in room. "Good, clean property for 2. Could do up to 4 as there are two beds. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia Nat'l Park. We ran into a major traffic jam going back to the property from Bar Harbor. It was people heading home at the end of a holiday weekend. Not the property's fault, just wanted to inform."

The hosts were lovely, and the gourmet 3 course breakfast served daily was simply amazing. The home was charming, and cozy and filled with everything that made the stay delightful. "not enough room here. will list a few faults. reserved cottage for one month and only stayed two weeks. needed so much that I didn't complain at the time because I didn't want anyone coming in and out. Mattresses were like sleeping in a hole. Filthy dirty filters on air conditioners. Terrible mold on shower curtain. Dirty shag rugs. Closet doors just leaning on side wall.
