I was there for Memorial Day weekend and I booked everything though Expedia and I even paid for insurance and they took the money right away didn’t hear nothing back from them when I went there to check in they said it was issue with your book we don have your room I was mad about book there I was nothing I can do they said they have different room for me and set me up on that is fine next day they was changing me .. wen I went on room it was super hot 80 degrees I call down to come and Check the air no on cam in till I call for 3 time finely they send maintenance man he said the air is broken so you have to be move when downstairs told them that .. oh there is nothing we can do I was traveling with baby so I couldn’t just go out middle of the night to look for hotel and all my time to go driving around that was the reason why I reserve it online .. I just want to say management horrible place horrible never want to see that hotel in my life ..I ask for compensation for my first night that was not right to do that to me .. they side they are will call me never did .. talk to expedite they told to give them 4 day it’s has been over that and they didn’t call .. horrible services ..

Great location near Times Square but rooms are older, no conveniences in room. Had to ask for towels. Our reservation was mishandled by Expedia’s third party vendor so our room was not what we reserved or paid for. One hour on the phone with Expedia got me nowhere. Fortunately, desk manager Keith was able to move us to a much better room for the second night of our stay.

the photos on the website gives the impression that the hotel is in great condition and clean which is not the case. lobby tables were sticky every day, garbage in elevator that was not picked up for days and the room carpet was not clean.

The sink would leak a lot of water every time it was turned on. We informed the hotel of this within the first hour of arriving but they said all the other rooms were booked and if we wanted to change the next day we’d have to check out at check out time and wait hours to check into a different room. The leaking was fixed on the fourth night of our stay. The safe was also broke and the tv remote did not work but the remote was replaced. The hotel did accommodate our request for extra towels and provided a small reimbursement for the leaking sink. The beds were comfortable and the location is great. If you want to be able to walk to Broadway shows it is the most affordable option but be prepared… the bar and hotel lobby is also not as it appears in the pictures (most of the bar has been removed) and the shuttle service is by a third party provider and the times they provide are not always accurate. With all that being said I would still consider staying again due to the location and price but Central Park Hotel and Element seemed to have good prices in a similar area so they may be worth checking into.
