"Great room. Comfortable beds and pillows. Good shower. Good price. Check in confusing, wasn't aware that there are two Settlers right together, but different owners. Settlers Hotel is at the back and they send an SMS with room and lock box number. Would have liked a box of tissues in the room somewhere. Cleaners should leave shower head pointing down and not out the door!"

"Kerry and Dave are excellent hosts and we had a lovely stay at the York Motel. Located within a very short walk of the main street but tucked away in a quiet spot. Our room and all amenities were spotless with modern bathroom and a good hot shower. Cannot fault their hospitality and can happily recommend. We would book direct with them next time though as our booking information had not been passed onto them in time for our arrival, thankfully Dave was brilliant at resolving the issue, thank...

"We booked into the Farmers Home Hotel with ease. Our room was well appointed with lots of little “extras”. We enjoyed a couple of beautifully presented drinks at the Temperance Bar and decided to stay for something to eat. The share plates we ordered were delicious.
