"Stayed for three days. All liked it. The house has everything for living. There is heating and air conditioning. On the balcony in the morning we drank coffee and listened to the birds singing. There are many of them here. There are beautiful parks with waterfalls nearby. Recommended."

"The property was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was very well appointed. Our family of 6 had plenty of room. The one bathroom is set up so that the bath/shower is semiprivate from the toilet and sink, so that's a plus. Easy walk to downtown cafe or church, and easy drive to Rochester. Great value. The way the blow dryer was hung in the bathroom was not great and needs improvement. The strong incense in the living and bedroom was a little overpowering and I felt we were at grandma’s house. "Our family of five had a wonderful stay at the Gate House! The location can’t be beat for its proximity to the Perry entrance of Letchworth Park, and for its beautiful quiet setting and grounds. My husband especially loved reading beside the fire and gazing at the magnificent stars visible with the backyard light turned off. "We came as a group of family and friends to observe the eclipse. We wanted plenty of space and proximity to other things to do, like hiking and the winery. This fit the bill and was quite affordable too. In addition to enjoying the property, we drove to Letchworth State Park, which’s was only 45 mins away abs very worthwhile. We loved the (steep) hike down to hemlock lake, and the short walk to Oh-Neh-Da Winery too. It was a great home base for our long weekend."
