This hotel was in a great location , with easy access to the harbor and Bus stop 1 near city hall. It was very noisy at night if you face the pedestrian square in front. The breakfast was really good and nice selection to choose from. Staff was friendly but very busy, so hard to talk to them. Negative was no safes in the room and had to sightsee with my valueables everyday.

Really central, great location. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Opt for the nicer rooms tho ~ we had one deluxe that viewed the harbor, which was excellent, and two that were cheaper...they were both very small and had issues with the shower design (got whole bathroom floor wet). The lobby bar and breakfast area were lovely. Would def stay here again.

Wow- if you need place to stay will enjoying the sights and sounds of Reykjavik, the Center Hotel Plaza is top notch. Best location to enjoy the night life. No parking was a set back but there was underground parking nearby, cost another $35 CAD per day.

The property was centrally located to the harbor and all the bus lines as well as being surrounded by places to eat and drink. The staff was professional and friendly and the included breakfast was great value for money with many hot and cold food options.

The hotel is within the tourist center of the city. All the restaurants, shopping, sight-seeing, etc. are within short walking distance. Most residents are cruise passengers which is about 10 minutes by taxi. The breakfast is great.

Staff was friendly, the hotel was ok. We were given a room on the ground floor, right by the street, with a window directly to street level. So it was noisy and we couldn’t leave the curtains open. The room was very simple for the price.
