"This hotel was great. Good location. I loved that they kept the old bone and character of the hotel but updated where they could. The hotel is 100yrs old so the room size reflects that still good. I almost didn't stay here because some of the comments made me feel it was unsafe. As a solo female traveler I felt as safe as I could in a big city. Even walked a couple blocks for a late night snack and was fine. I do wish they mentioned that they charged your card before you arrive at the property....

"This was a last minute booking due a family member at UCSF medical center and I’m so grateful to have found this. We had been staying at a Marriot in a rougher section of the city previously and their prices tripled (on a Monday night?) so I was searching for alternatives. Not only was the bed in my room at Del Sol a million times more comfortable (rivaled my own at home), the staff was so kind, and the area was so much cleaner and safer. 100% plan to stay again hopefully under better...
