The area is wonderful - so many bars, restaurants, shops, museums, etc. It's easy to walk to just about anything you'd want to see in Madrid, and for the things more than a couple miles away, there's a metro stop super close by."

"C.B. is a small but elegant B&B, which is eat-off-the-floor clean. It has a beautiful terrace (with a plunge pool) with tables and chairs and sofas. It is as quiet as can be. Just down the hill is a small cafe, the 4 Gatos, and a Taverna where I got an outstanding Negroni. At night we could see the Alhambra from our bed. Priceless, as the ads go. The owner went to an extraordinary length to help me (77) get to a cab. We'd go back in a minute. "

"This is hands down the most wonderful hotel in Barcelona. The building and rooms are beautiful and clean, the breakfast is free and delicious, and Tai is the friendliest host ever! The location is even better than any central places. It is 5 min walk from Park Guell and the metro station which gets you to all other spots very quickly. The local neighbourhood has the most authentic feel to it - definitely my favourite of all in Barcelona. "
