"Overall. A pleasant stay- clean, comfortable and affordable. We found out after booking that it’s $15a day to park, although we were able to find street parking (if you don’t mind searching for it at the end of the day). The Inn is kinda retro with a lot of sets of steps up, and down, to get to the second floor. If you don’t mind steps and kinda a “hostel” vibe with a lot of foreign travelers, the location is great and one of the more affordable places by the beach in Santa Barbara. "

"It's a motel, so my expectations weren't high, but the room, bed, and bathroom were all clean and well cared for. The shower was one of the better ones I've used in a while: a welcome surprise after a long day. It had good blackout shades too. And it was right next to a 7/11, which was handy. A minor negative is that the freezer in the fridge wasn't working, but that probably won't bother most people."

"the owner is the nicest guy ever, we talked for a bit at check in, the next morning I discovered I had left my cell phone in the room, he texted it when he found it. Very friendly and nice man. the room was basic, furniture a bit worn. very powerful but somewhat noisy a/c unit. On a busy street so try to get a downstairs room with building blockage to buffer the noise. good value for the location"

"We love this house, the view and location and we had a great time. But, given the price, you expect the house to have decent furnishings. The rug downstairs was filthy and the upstairs couch was not clean and the house needs other updates. The house had been cleaned but the furnishings seemed overused and unclean. We hope the owners will inspect their property and refresh their furnishings because we would love to come back."
