"We loved the convenience of being within the park combined with the ability to get away from the crowds. The private niche of Foresta with quaint cabins and solitude was a gem for us. Just down the dirt road from our cabin was a beautiful waterfall that was fun to walk to. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, kitchen well stocked, it is not “fancy” by extremely comfortable."

"This place is perfectly located for a visit in Yosemite! We were in the valley within 20 minutes and we loved that we could get away from the crowds easily. The house was perfect for two couples. "My daughter and I stayed there and loved it! We can't wait to return, perhaps this Autumn. It was a joy to experience the beauty of Yosemite and to leave the crowds behind at the end of the day and return to this charming cabin. The peace and quiet there were wonderful. It was comfortable and well stocked with cooking pots and pans, dishes, etc. Our overall experience was a 10!"

"Super cozy, quaint, affordable, and nostalgic cottage for my adult family of 5 for my bucket list trip to Yosemite. Cottage was clean w/ a really nice partially covered composite deck with a beautiful of the creek and woods. Even had a gas grill and really nice fireplace too. The property management staff was super friendly and accommodating allowing me to use their laundry facility for free. All of this helped to make a really fulfilling & memorable trip for us... thank you!"

Another huge benefit is that it's within Yosemite National Park boundaries so we didn't need a Park permit to go to Yosemite. It was wonderful to return here after a day of hiking. "The cabin is well equipped and decorated with memorabilia from the 50’s and 60’s. I recognized so much from my youth…my teenage granddaughters were shocked hear me identify people and things they never heard of. Truly a step back in time. We were able to traverse many Yosemite highlights from this location in Wawona from within the NP."

"I book the lodge for the night before my wedding. The host, Jimmy and Michael were very responsive and provided all the details for a smooth check-in. The morning of, we used the space to get ready. It was very spacious and accommodated our wedding party. The area around the lodge was beautiful for photo ops and we had our first look, right outside surrounded by trees. I would recommend staying at the lodge if you are planning to get married in Yosemite. "

"Be prepared to check in with Redwoods Yosemite Management prior to occupying cabin. That wasn't indicated in our VRBO instructions. Luckily, we chose to stop by a nearby management office to use their phone(due to no cell reception), & discovered that was the procedure to check in. Had we arrived 1 hour later, we would have been unaware of the "after hours check in procedures" Otherwise, our accommodations were perfect & would gladly stay again."

"We had a great stay at Wawona during the Memorial Day long weekend. The location is good, refreshing and close enough to the Yosemite valley. However, the place didn't have enough paper towels, salt and pepper, shampoo and bathroom essentials. So you will have to bring everything with yourself or you can buy it in the Yosemite super market. Communication with the property manager was a little bit hard and they were slow in responding to the messages. Overall, it was a great stay."

"We were a group of seven, and this cabin specified it slept 10. Not sure how comfortable a group that size would be, since only four beds… The bedroom with two double beds had older, scratchy bedding (different than depicted on website) and one of them was squeaky and felt like sleeping on a pull-out couch.
