I loved the proximity to the ocean and surrounding beauty spots. It was outside of the main city centre which meant it was peaceful and quiet, whilst the city was quick and easy to get to. We loved the indoor swimming pool and the buffet breakfast was very extensive. The furnishings were a little worn but the hotel itself was nice and clean.

This place feels tired
Renovation/update desperately needed. Excellent personnel but the hotel is just so worn down, that it can’t really make up for it. Pool is very small, and facilities around it, changing room/lockers/etc, are awful and uninviting.

It is a charming seaside. Stunning view of the sea. The sounds of waves put you to sleep. The beach is right outside. You can walk to The Infinite Bridge, Marselisborg Deer Park and Marselisborg Castle. Bus ride to city Aarhus takes only 10 min. Staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Specious room, comfortable beds, balcony with a sea view. Pool, sauna, steam and gym are available. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of choices and served with fresh bread. There is coffee machine available all day long (coffee, hot chocolate and teas) as complimentary. It was a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. I would definitely stay here again.

Das Hôtel könnte echt renoviert werden. Badewanne mit Vorhang geht garnicht.Zimmerreinigung war nicht gut. Frühstück war sehr gut,aber leider war die ganze Woche kein Restaurantbetrieb geöffnet.

Helnan er klart vores favorit hotel og skal vi til vores favorit by Århus (her i dk) så er Helnan altid det hotel vi booker os ind på. Vi har været der flere gange og deres værelser med havudsigt er skønne og der er bare en ro. Deres morgenmad buffet er lækker. Sengene er gode. Rummelige værelser. Kort derfra kan man gå op og fodre hjorte, en stor oplevelse. Klart en kæmpe anbefaling herfra til et besøg på Helnan.

Dårlig morgenmad, ingen spa service
Der manglede håndklæder og badekåber til spa’en. Saunaen var kold og skulle forvarmes i 30 min når man besøgte den, intet vegansk eller vegetarisk morgenmadsbord det var meget skrabet og yderst kedeligt så vi endte med at spise morgenmad i Århus by. Ingen hårtørrer på værelset og der var kun sort the om aftenen at drikke da vi ankom, hverken hvid grøn eller urtethd. Virkelig sløv service. Dessuden et overfold af røræg og bacon selvom vi var meget få mennesker på hotellet mandag morgen. Det virker ikke som om de går op i bæredygtighed, mere som om de går op i at spare penge til sig selv. Vi bad om reduktion i prisen men fik intet tilbudt.

Ikke værd at besøge igen.
Syntes ikke opholdet var de penge værd.. så ked af at min datter gav så mange penge for dette ophold i min fødselsdagsgave.. poolen var iskold, rengøringen var dårlig, komforten i sengen var dårlig, morgenmaden var der nogle ting der var forfærdeligt, blandt andet blødkogte æg iskolde, pandekager kolde, scrample eggs smagte mærkelig.. det bedste ved morgenmaden var dog æblejuice fra rynkeby… alt i alt en dårlig oplevelse..
