"Loved the house and the hot tub. Everything was very clean. Comfortable beds, good pillows. Location was great too-- quiet, no traffic, polite/quiet neighbors. We had a maintenance issue the first night but it was promptly seen to by management and we were very appreciative. I might suggest a small vacuum in the place-- the sand and gravel from the area around the hot tub gets everywhere-- but other than that, no complaints. We will definitely be back."

"Overall the experience was good… it was out first time at this property and we go to Deep Creek at least 2 times a year. Some of the amenities need updated…. The foose ball was broken. The air hockey table was broke. And no useable pool sticks for either pool table. The mixer in the kitchen did not work. The dryer would not dry out clothes until my husband pulled it out and cleaned the vent hose. The back deck was so dirty and overgrown we had to sweep the dirt and moss off it to keep from...

"We are so grateful we were able to book this cabin for our weekend stay. Myself, my husband and our 4 year old twins had a ball. Prime location, close to the main drag in Deep Creek, close to Wisp, and really nothing is far away. The cabin was clean and really adorably decorated. We also loved The hot tub! It was the perfect size for our family and we hope to be back again soon!!"

"The house was beautiful, plenty of space for everyone to spread out yet be together. The bedrooms were very nice and comfortable, even the pillows (I take issue with flat pillows and these were memory foam). Plenty of things to do in this house, no need to leave for entertainment. A definite repeat for out family."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Magnolia is a beautiful well furnished home. We were lucky enough to have gotten lots of snow during our stay. It was so beautiful!! I would suggest additional heating on/in the main level bedrooms. There was a dramatic difference in that part of the house. Lots of "It's freezing back here" comments. space heaters would have been most welcome! We kept the thermostat at 70 lest the upstairs get too warm. "We adored our time in this cute cabin close to Ohiopyle. The beds were comfortable, with plenty of pillows, and we LOVED the hot tub. It's private, and just out the back door - no need to spend too much time in the cold air between inside and the tub. They provided really clear instructions on what was available and what to bring - we were glad to have our extra roll of toilet paper, as they do not provide backup. Otherwise we had everything we needed, and found the location convenient for our little weekend away. Also, if you like Italian food, be sure to check out Meloni's (about 15 minutes away). It was delicious!"

"In room amenities were nice but would have liked simple written instructions for operating the coffee maker, and normal (non foam) coffee would have been nice. Also, instructions indicating the room hvac was a 2 zone system. We set one thermostat expecting the 2nd to be mirrored. Net-net the accommodations were great. "

We stayed here a few years ago

"This house is great. We stayed in this house a few years back and enjoyed our time there. We were supposed to stay here again a few weeks ago but unfortunately there was an issue at the property and we were moved to a different house at the last minute. I am sure nothing has changed at the Cedar Lodge and we would have had a great time there however as I said, we did not get to stay there this time. The house we stayed in was equally nice and we the same ratings I gave above apply to it as well. It was a little frustrating to be asked by the system multiple times to rate a house you didn't stay in. It seems the VRBO system should be a bit more flexible than it is."
