Once we walked through the house, we were amazed by the size of backyard/pool area and pool house which has 2 very nice bedrooms and a large bath. We ate most meals out but did have an incredible evening of grilled lobsters over the open fire on the parrilla. Great place for a family vacation."

"Our stay here was great. The host gives you so much inside information about the island, the beaches, local restaurants and businesses, etc. It felt like having a personal guide to Eleuthera. The home is comfortable and has lots of amenities like beach chairs, snorkels and masks, and an umbrella you can use which makes the beach experiences even better."

"NOT a resort. But, a wonderful location with beautiful views. Bring your own foodstuffs. Including salt and pepper…not going to find it here. WiFi was intermittent, power went off our first day here for three hours. Very close to Governor’s Harbour and GH airport."

"Originally we thought the location was a lot farther than it actually was, it ended up being so close to everything and so easy to get every where. The property manager also owns a golf cart company so we had that waiting for us at the house when we got there. Everything about our stay "

"Our stay at this house could have been perfect if it had not been for two issues. The first one has to do with the accuracy of online listing in terms of location, it seems it is by the beach or at least at a pretty close walking distance but it is not actually like that, the second issue, which is a major one, is the problem with electric power the island suffers. We spent almost two days without electricity and it is something we should have been warned beforehand so we could make a decision...

"Chatterbox is a beautiful well kept house. It's ideally and centrally located; everything is within walking distance. It's close to the beach, supermarket, wine and liquor stores, top restaurants, bakeries and local conch and fish shacks. Service was super and communication channels with the host was excellent. No question was too insignificant to answer. The house was clean and fully furnished with top of the line appliances and amenities. We will definitely be back!"

"We loved staying at Yellowbird! This was our 7th year renting a home on the island but first time at Yellowbird and it was a success. The house is great for large groups that also like having their own spaces and the outdoor space is beautiful - great place to hang rain or shine! Not having any beach chairs was the only disappointment as we have have been provided them at other rental homes there in the past, but all the staff and owner were communicative and kind so we'd definitely recommend...

"Property was a perfect home base for our week in Eleuthera! Spacious for our family of 4 and felt very private. Central location close to GH and convenient to restaurants, beaches and retail. "This off grid place was amazing, the ability to have a fire on the beach in the evening was spectacular. The photos matched the property as did the description. Given that it was cooler due to winter time having hot water would have made it perfect but the tenants were very clear that it wasn’t available. Honestly the people in the neighboring town were not very friendly and that was disappointing. The only significant recommendation we have for the place is to clean up the trash for appearance...

"Not a walkable distance to the beach! You can drive and get there in 5 minutes not walking. Very remote area, was hard only having one car because of the remoteness of the island. House was super clean and beautiful kitchen very functional and saved money on meals by being able to cook. "

Oceanfront Glass House on Private Deserted Pink Sand Beach

Beautiful location

"This was a perfect location for our stay. The bedroom layout is great for two couples, or two singles. The bedrooms are at separate ends of house and each has its own full bath. The beds were very comfy! The kitchen is well equipped, but we don't really like to cook on vacay, so opted for late lunch out somewhere every day, with light breakfast and snacks for dinner. There is a nice grill on back deck. The view from front deck is beautiful! We pulled the chaise lounges up from the middle deck and enjoyed sitting outside and watching the incredibly blue ocean. The gorgeous pink sand beach is just down some steps and we only saw someone else on beach once! It was very windy while we were there, so most of our beach-sitting time was spent on the west side of island (sooo many beautiful beaches to choose from!). We really appreciated having fold-up beach chairs and ice chests available to take in car or down to beach with us. Plenty of beach towels available for use. When the sky is clear, the stars are amazing...super bright and they seem so close! We don't get that living in the city. Internet was great. Heard lots of stories about it going down a lot on the island, but we only lost it once for a short time. Governors Harbor area was perfect location for us...very central for exploring north/south. Well-stocked grocery store in town. Barb was great. She responded quickly and answered any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again."

"We truly enjoyed our stay at Salt Box. It’s a very charming Bahamian style property and very well kept. "We had an absolutely lovely time. We came here on our honeymoon and they upgraded us the honeymoon suite free of charge. Literally the nicest people ever. Tingham is an incredible option if you're staying on Harbour island. Baby Ruby is a gem of a person. We will definitely be coming back in the future. "
