"The property is half way to the top of the mountain, so about an hour's driving from Jiaye. The suite we stay has two bedrooms, a shared washroom with two bidet toilets and a large shower. It also has a large living room and an open tea room that can be converted into a bed room. The suite is clean and very comfortable to stay for a family. The staffs were very friendly. One of the attractions of Alisan is sunrise, you can enjoy a cup of Alisan's green tea in their lounge at the sixth floor....

There is 30-40 minute walking distance from bus stop, the owner drives a Mercedes to pickup guests. Room is very clean, bed is large and comfortable. Breakfast is free. Meals were mediocre but breakfast and dinner were included with the room fee. Facilities (bath areas) were not opened during times advertised on some days, they were open when tour groups were at the hotel (my stay was not part of a tour). Not a bad experience but not a great value for the price paid. "

"Be aware this is an old dormitory facility. The rooms are basic but clean. The whole place smells a bit of mildew. Pillows are not good. There are many hills and stairs to get to some of the rooms.
