"More of an apartment than a hotel room, with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, sitting room, and even a small kitchen. Courtyard setting was very welcoming. Extremely friendly staff. No food or bar available but you’re welcome to bring in if you wish. Just a few steps from the French Market and 1/2 mile from Jackson Square, but not bothered by any noise from Bourbon Street."

"My stay in New Orleans was exquisite. This hotel was in the perfect location for all the French Quarter sites to see and shopping. The only recommendation I would give is to check the water heaters. Because I did not have hot water two days in a row. And also the toilet was not flushing thoroughly the first time he had to flush it at least three times."

"I have never stayed in a facility where there was no person at the front desk after around 7:00. There was a phone # to call and she showed up in 6 minutes and was ready to help. We enjoyed our stay. It has a small courtyard that is a great place to sit and rest after walking in the French quarter all day. If you have others in your group it would be a great place to gather before the next adventure out."

"Genuinely the ONLY thing that made me rate The French Market Inn 4 stars instead of 5 was because one afternoon, after being gone for a few hours, I returned to find that my room was open with the deadbolt out. My experience with the generous staff made me know that this was just an accident. Nothing was taken from my room. I told everybody that I know that I would highly recommend this place due to it’s convenient location and it’s heart-warming staff."
