Luxury Little Cottage - Sleeps 6 with private swimming pool Amou, 10 km Orthez

This wonderful and charming little house found in the cross roads of the Chalosse in a magnificient village called Amou..
There is so much to see and do around Amou it even has its own Office de Tourism.
It can help you prepare excursions or just introduce you to our fabulous
region "the Aquitaine" where your have the Mountains , or the Sea at your service in under 1 hours drive.


Our regions is so rich in culture and history ; 10 mins away we have Orthez the medieival town of Gaston Febus. Or with 40min your are in Pau celebrating with fabulous white wines and appreciating the Aquitaine and Bearnais culture of HENRI IV and his formidable Medieval Chateau..Spain is only one hour away with tapias and sangria it is culture culture!!!!

We provide you with :

The house lay out is as following has-
- One double bedroom downstairs with a on suite shower.
- Two double bedrooms upstairs with a central bathroom that has a toilet, shower and
19th C bath that was made from of Napleaon III 's iron forgery.
--There is a TV , WIfi ; and all the modern comforts .

Please note: that small children must be supervised at all times around the pool.

A really comfortable stay
Excellent facilities overall - plenty of space and a lovely pool - perhaps a bit short on cooking pans, and a lock on the toilet would be good. The problems with phone and computer contact was beyond the control of the owner, but it did make contact tricky.

My two young daughters loved the pool. Great location in a small town with boulangerie and other amenities down the road, including a bustling market on Sundays. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a nice stay, the pool was great, and one of the great arguments for reservation. House was functional and with good space. Amou city was very quiet. We can recommend house and Amou if you want a relaxing stay

Maison avec piscine comfortable et bien agencée pour les vacances
Nous avons passe 2 semaines dans la maison de Joeline. Il a fait chaud donc nous avons bien profité de la piscine. Les enfants se sont regalés. La maison est conforme à la description. Il y a un marche avec produits locaux le dimanche matin à 5 min à pied de la maison et un Intermarché à 10 min. Pleins de visites à faire aux alentours. La maison est bien équipée et notamment avec les chaleurs, nous avons pu fermer les volets et la maison est restée à une temperature moderée, Lave-vaisselle, lave linge, wifi - tout a bien fonctionné. Nous sommes très content de nos vacances à Amou!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison très agréable. La maison est bien équipée et la piscine a faut la joie des petits et grands Beaucoup de choses à visiter dans un périmètre raisonnable. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse

Propriété parfaite pour un séjour au calme
Amateurs de calme, vous passerez une excellente semaine dans cette villa proche du centre du village et dotée d'une piscine très appréciable en fin de journée (plus grande et profonde que nous le pensions). Hossegor/Seignosse n'étant qu'à 1h de route, et d'autres villes (Dax, Orthez, ...) encore plus proches, nous avons pu jongler entre journées actives/soirées tranquilles (et vice versa) sans difficulté. Merci à Joeline pour sa disponibilité avant et pendant le séjour. A noter : Quelques ustensiles complémentaires de cuisine (fouet, gros couteaux, ...) seraient un plus.

Résidence très agréable et au calme.
Avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Amou et bien profité de la piscine pour nous rafraîchir en période de canicule. Petit marché sympa le dimanche matin pour les emplettes de produits locaux et bio. Tout le nécessaire sur place pour passer de bonnes vacances
