You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Cultural by Nature. Rural place in the city.

Our guest house has a double bed downstairs and with a dock on the mezzanine where limited headroom is two more beds. The small kitchen in the guest room is separated from the bathroom by means of swing doors behind which are a spacious rain shower, toilet and sink.
There is a private terrace and trampolines in the garden.
On the dike there is free parking. A good supermarket with restaurant is 100 meters away. The guesthouse is located nationwide but with bus, tram or metro you are within 15 minutes in the center of the canals belt of Amsterdam. From our location it is also nice to cycle to the old villages such as Ransdorp, Durgerdam and Holysloot. There are 4 bicycles available. Day trips to Marken, Volendam, Zaanse schans and Keukenhof are also easily accessible.
That is why we call this place the best of both worlds.

Sind am selben Tag noch abgereist. Leider kein guter Empfang, meckert über den Hund, obwohl wir drüber gesprochen hatten. Leider nicht sauber genug...für das Geld erwarte ich mehr. Terrasse und Garten sehr herunter gerockt nicheinladend.

Tranquility in the Garden
We loved our stay with Mariette. As a family of four, we had plenty of space and all essentials were provided in Mariettes cozy garden house. Access by transit, bike, or on foot is a breeze. Evenings were so peaceful, with no noise of traffic or night life. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Wunderschönes Häuschen, mit dem Wichtigsten ausgestattet. Kanal und Schaafwiese vor der Tür. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeit gleich um die Ecke und sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung nach Amsterdam. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und empfehlen das Häuschen gerne weiter!

Fijne locatie en op zich leuk huisje
Wij hebben het heel gezellig gehad met de vrienden maar het verblijf liet te wensen over. Het was niet schoon, zout en peper en n vaatdoek ontbraken en er was een kapotte schaar. Ook de kinderbedden zijn te smal voor volwassenen en de trap naar boven is gevaarlijk. Wij komen niet terug

Haben die Tage sehr genossen, ein äußerst gemütliches Häuschen für entspannte Tage. Es ist alles nötige verfügbar, top Anbindung zum Centrum und im Ort selbst ist es schön ruhig. Gerne wieder.

Excellent and adorable little cottage in country with very easy access to anything!
Mariette was a fantastic host and her place is the perfect middle ground between a busy city and a relaxing countryside. It took five minutes to walk to the 37 bus line, which can get you to just about any connecting trend line and to whatever neighborhood you want to go to. It takes less than 30 min to get to Centraal Station if all transit lines up right. There are bikes and everything you need to cook if you want. It really was the perfect day, small caveat being four stars to cleanliness because of the amount of spiderwebs in there for spiders. I think Netherlands may be different than in the states where we try to keep spiders out of the home, but there are a considerable number so beware if you’re afraid of them!

Unbeschwerte Zeit in Amsterdam
Wir hatten eine wunderbar unbeschwerte Woche in Amsterdam. Mariettes Häuschen, in dem wir zu dritt untergebracht waren, war zwar etwas klein, hat aber trotzdem mit seinem Charme etwas abseits des Stadttrubels keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Wir wurden morgens von Enten und manchmal auch einer Schwanenfamilie begrüßt, was unserer 12jährigen Tochter besonders gut gefiel. Mit den Fahrrädern, die Mariette gerade neu angeschafft hatte, konnten wir die Stadt prima und sehr entspannt erkunden und bekamen außerdem jede Menge sehr interessanter Empfehlungen dazu von unserer sympathischen Gastgeberin :) Wir können diesen Standort unbedingt empfehlen. Für Paare ohne Kind(er) ist das Häuschen aber sicher noch besser geeignet - und bietet auf jeden Fall die Gelegenheit für einen romantischen Besuch dieser faszinierenden und vielseitigen Stadt!

Wir waren 4 Tage in dem sehr liebevoll und sehr gut ausgestatteten Häuschen .alles vorhanden vom Fön bis zur Kaffeemaschine das war richtig super.! die Lage ist sensationell sehr ruhig und doch ist man schnell mit dem Rad an der Fähre nach Amsterdam . Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und geben gute tips. Immer wieder gerne wir kommen gerne wieder

Schön Lage!
Das Häuschen hat eine super Lage: direkt am Hafen und sehr ländlich, und trotzdem sehr nah an der City. Von hier lassen sich viele Ausflüge in andere kleine Städte oder auch an den Strand machen. Mariette ist sehr hilfsbereit und gibt viele Tipps bzgl. Amsterdam und Umgebung. Das Haus ist sehr schön und ausreichend groß für 3 bis 4 Leute. Vielen Dank!

Lovely guest house
This guest house was lovely and we enjoyed it very much. There were bikes for us to use, and it was a short ride to the center of Amsterdam. Great location, and the host was available for any questions we had. The only negative was that there was no washer/dryer, despite the listing advertising that the house had them. The host offered to do our laundry for us, but we just washed things by hand, and hung them on the provided line to dry. It worked out fine, but the listing should be updated. Overall, the house was conveniently located to the city center, but with the feel of being in the countryside. It was clean and well decorated, and the host was great. Would definitely stay here again!
