We are ready to host you today! We've instituted additional cleaning procedures to ensure a clean and welcoming apartment for your visit. We've cleaned hard surfaces with anti-bacterial sprays. Soft surfaces, furniture & throw pillows are treated with anti-bacterial fabric sprays.

Located next to popular Westchester Lagoon and The Coastal Trail, this top floor apartment is also minutes from downtown by car, bike, or your feet! If you have a vehicle, you'll have a parking spot reserved just for you. The unit has a private entrance accessed by two flights of exterior stairs.

When you are away from home, we want you to feel welcome and comfortable while you visit our wonderful and adventurous city. We are committed to hosting you and providing a warm and welcoming home, whether you are here for fun, business, or both. Our winter wonderland is a beautiful time to visit Alaska!

Adventure around the city, or relax inside logging in to watch your favorite shows on Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon. With two internet connected TVs (one in the main bedroom), you and your companions have unlimited options.

Our apartment has two bedrooms (now with a queen bed in each as of Oct 2019), a jacuzzi bathtub, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, one full bath and one half bath, and a washer and dryer in the unit. We've stocked our Keurig machine and filled the refrigerator with complimentary bottled water.

This is the first of two rentals that we host in our building. The second one "New remodeled unit next to Downtown at Westchester" opened in December 2019. It was designed and furnished with guests in our minds.

As a born and raised Alaskan, nothing beats the beauty and winter recreation opportunities of Alaska!

You'll have the entire 900 Sq Ft apartment to yourself.

There is a shared deck to relax on while watching the sunset and waterfowl.

There are two flights of exterior stairs to access the apartment.

Located in a four-plex with private off street parking. One assigned parking spot with booking.

This is non-smoking/vaping property. For the comfort of our guests and residents, please do not smoke/vape in the apartment, on the deck, or at the top of the driveway.

Wonderful, but….
First the wonderful. The Condo was super clean and very well equipped. The location was perfect easy to get down town and several options for walking. Not wonderful. The published description did include that the condo was a three story walk up. However, it was fairly deep in the description. For two people in there upper 70’s with heavy luggage, it was a challenge. I know it is on me for not reading carefully, but I think that fact needs to be more prominent in the description.

Wonderful vrbo. Very clean and quiet. Great amenities with plenty of towels, snacks and supplies for laundry. Kitchen was well outfitted for for cooking. Stayed there with my adult child and the space was perfect for us with two bedrooms, two bedrooms and laundry in the unit. Location was great too. Next to a walking trails and close to downtown and main roads to easily get to Providence, shopping and museums. Also, no crazy check out/cleaning requirements. Hosts were very responsive to communications and just lovely people. Would love to stay again!

Outstanding stay
Stayed in the condo for eight days third week in August. It is located minutes from downtown, with easy access to the Seward Highway and going north out of the city. Quiet unit, with thoughtfulness throughout. Instant oatmeal, coffee and tea, protein bars and bottled water. Dan was almost instantly responsive, so no worries there. The condo is up two flights, so winter could be a challenge.

Great location - across the street from the Chester Creek pathway that leads to the Coastal Trail. Unit had full amenities. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked. We used the stackable laundry units. Only slight nag - 3 flights of stairs to unit. Owner (on site) very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

Amazing property and location
We stayed for a week. The property is on the 3rd floor. You will need to go up 2 flights of stairs to get there. The stairs are sturdy and secure and despite the inclement January weather, they were always clean of snow and ice. Parking was easy and convenient right in front of the property. We never heard noise from any neighboring units. We only used one of the beds, it was very comfortable and the down comforter was wonderful! There is a wood burning fireplace that is fully functional and a treat. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and pots and pans. As an added bonus, the fridge had salad dressings and other condiments. Plenty of spices. We cooked several meals there and it was easy to navigate and roomy. Another bonus was that there was lotion and other toiletries in the loo. I didn’t realize how dry my skin would get in Alaska. Dan is generous in providing coffee pods, laundry essentials, dishwasher packs and plenty of trash bags. We were visiting family on base and the location was perfect. Truly a fantastic experience. I would stay again and again.

Great Location, Great Property and Great Host
We had a great time in Anchorage. Largely in part to the wonderful place we stayed. The Location is Great. It is right on the walking trails that you can walk to downtown (approximately 2.5 miles). Walking distance to the Spenard Roadhouse which has good breakfast lunch and dinner. Christine and Dan are great hosts. They are super friendly and definitely care about your stay.
