"Lovely hotel that is well positioned, was lucky to get upgrade to a suite overlooking the golf course with views of the town and sea. "

"Generally quite a nice hotel when I’ve stayed on earlier occasions. However, it’s a faff to keep checking in and out- I make individual bookings for each of the nights I stay, in case I need to change nights during the week. They have no way of linking the bookings. On this stay there were no coat hangers in the wardrobe - meaning I had to leave my clothes in my case. Finally, there was a large toenail clipping on the carpet……and it wasn’t mine!"

"This was the perfect break to recuperate from major surgery and before starting chemotherapy. The seaview from my room was outstanding with views of the castle, sandstone rock formations and a tidal pool where brave women swam. There were equally amazing views from the public lounge and restaurant. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast choice was excellent with healthy options as well as full cooked Scottish breakfast. Dunbar is a charming town with a working harbour,...

"Great stay at the Marine! From the moment we arrived we had an outstanding stay and made to feel so special. All the service was friendly and very attentive. It is a short walk into North Berwick. The spa and pool areas are great, with lots of areas to use and never that busy! The ice baths are a great addition! The lawn restaurant was amazing and the pizzas were fabulous! Very impressed overall, and will be back!! Thank you "
