"Excellent tasting food. Fresh juice at breakfast. So so soup. Beach bed has moss and beware dangerous concrete structures in beach. I hit my foot very bad while bathing."

"Had a fantastic week of relaxation. Always chairs available at pool and beach, everyone working there was happy, lots of nooks around the property inside & out for extra privacy and tranquility. Only one restaurant but food was good. Breakfast is the best meal! Definitely do the all-inclusive!! "

"Villa was beautiful and it was quiet. It was everything I needed. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. I would recommend this resort, if you like quiet and don't mind being a distance from town. "

"We felt very at home at Curtain Bluff as apparently many do. There are many repeat guests. The grounds are beautiful (all rooms have ocean views), the staff are friendly and very helpful. And the beach chairs are luxurious!"

"We booked a two queen room, it was spacious, lots of closet and drawer space. The bathroom was also spacious. Room included a mini fridge, coffee pod machine (good coffee too), and a safe. There was also a balcony over looking the pool. The room was very clean. There is a small beach assigned to the hotel. It was a decent size and enough for the hotel guests. Theres a swim up tiki bar, a little boat will take you there. The restaurant had a reasonable variety of food and drink options. Some of the dishes could have used a little more seasoning or flavor. The mojitos and other drinks were soo good. Staff was very helpful. We came with a large group and they did a great job putting up with the requests. Overall, great experience."

"Antigua Village was (I think) the first resort to be built on the island - and theres a good reason why they chose Dickenson Bay. Wonderful sandy beach - now somewhat dominated by the huge Sandals neighboring resort. We did go 19 years ago - before Sandals and it was great. AV is still in great condition and it laid back, fairly basic but clean, tidy and maintained. Studio was OK for space, large patio makes up for the relatively small size. Cleaners were great (every day) and there is a little store there for (inflated) basic supplies. First Choice supermarket is about a mile down the road. Local restaurants ranged from OK to great. Explore the island (by day - as the potholes can be nasty at night!) or just sit on the beach chairs - drink in hand, and relax."
