"A very nice hotel in Angra. Valet parking was a real plus. Breakfast options were plentiful, and the topmost floor had a lot of space to hang out or work. The area offered a wide variety of dining options within walking distance. Despite the name Angra Beach Hotel, it is not located by the beach, but it offers a free daily pass to a very nice beach in the Ilha da Jipoia. I will stay at this hotel again if I am ever back in Angra."

"A nice, comfortable place. The staff aren’t the most multi-lingual for a resort, but they make up for that with their eagerness to help. The facilities are simple and rustic, which if that’s your thing, this place will be great. The architecture of the restaurant is fun, and there is a lot of greenery and living things to immerse yourself in nature. "

"the houses were looking lovely on the internet and the house itself was clean and well maintained but it is more a hotel of value of 200 /300 reales per night. no more. the bed was cheap and terrible. the sheets were as thin as they could possible be and we didn't feel comfortable when we entered the room and found blood spatters on the wall and curtains. this doesn't fill one with confidence "

"Very comfortable stay with some minor issues which were promptly resolved by the management. Cafeteria lady made fresh scrambled eggs for breakfast. Short walk from the bus terminal is a huge plus. You can easily walk to the historical city center as well where a number of restaurants are located. Customer service is excellent. I would book without hesitation again if I am in Paraty."

"This was a beautiful place to relax after spending the previous week in Rio. You might not have any cellular service at the last highway turn so it would be a good idea to set this destination on a couple of navigation apps. The last few km of road is quite rough. Cellular service reconnects as you get down the road and close to the beach. Drive slowly for the last bit. The staff was very welcoming/accommodating of our requests. "Aluguei essa casa para passar o fim de ano e ao chegar com as compras vimos que a casa esta localizada em frente a um esgoto/canal aberto. A cozinha da casa tinha fezes de ratos e os quartos cheira a mofo, colchoes com acaros e mofo humido, banheiros em estado terrivel. Nao fiquei POIs a casa nao tinha condicoes de ninguem ficar, cheiro insuportavel. O dono da casa ainda nao devolveu o Valor Pago pela locacao e o website nao checou a casa antes de colocar para aluguel no site. NAO ALUGUE...

"Our stay at Carpe Diem was awesome, the attention and service are top notch. I loved the space and calm atmosphere, it was my first time in Paraty and the location of the hotel is excellent! Thank you for the hospitality, next time in Paraty I’m staying with you again"

"The public area is more wonderful and very well designed, the rooms were plain, not great. But the biggest problem is the service, the front desk lady was the worst. She said we had to pick a boat trip that day for the next day, and tried charge us over twice the price! She said she'd send the link, when she didn't we just walked over to the port after she gave us the wrong directions. We selected a boat and when we got on she kept texting me in capitals on WhatsApp what boat we were on. When I asked why she said she was worried about us. No doubt it was for commission. I never told her. Then the next day when we left the hotel she sent us a picture of a shattered TV and sai we broke it. When I pointed out that the layout of the room was not the same of as as ours and that wasn't even our room, instead of apologizing she just didn't reply. Judging by this I really wonder about her stability if they fire her, I would reconsider this hotel despite the plain rooms. Terrible experience."
