Although somewhat isolated, access to restaurant services available within 10 to 15 minutes by driving to the external road, outside the boundary fence, of a motorway service area and passing through a pedestrian gate to shop as required. "The staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Though I had booked a double room I was given two singles but, only because the key given was incorrect ( easy to confuse a 6 & 9!) but it was no issue for me, I should have questioned it but with two dogs in hand easier to just settle in the first room! We were late yet they still gave us a table in the restaurant, and OMG the food was amazing. Next day breakfast delicious, loads of home made...

Very quiet village, with no restaurant or bars, and we weren't aware the host would cook meals on request. Our only complaints were not being able to eat in our room and new towels are required! "Modern and clean with good sized rooms. We had a family room which had two bedrooms plus a toilet separate from the shower room which is handy when you have teens! Good Wi-Fi and a handy halfway to the Alps. All looked new with a king size bed . It was really quiet so we all slept well. Kettle and fridge in the room which were appreciated and there is a lovely bakery 2mins drive away for a quick breakfast (although the hotel did do breakfast too)"
