We drove around Shenandoah’s Sky Line Dr and came back to amazing weather and spent a few hours in the hot tub. The caretakers answered all of our questions and were very helpful during our stay. We enjoyed the ping pong table, fire pits and hot tub. Nestled deep in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this peaceful escape provided breathtaking views, soothing river sounds, and an abundance of nature. We loved exploring the walking trails, relaxing by the river, and unwinding on the large deck. The open dining area and cozy wood stove made it feel like home. "Our 14-member family stayed on the entire property (farmhouse, cabin and cottage) and had a wonderful time. This cottage is small and cozy and has beautiful views of green pastures. 2 fox kits came out to frolic in front of the cottage each morning, their den must be nearby. This cabin is perfect for a lone traveler or a couple."

"Overall pleased with this location. Peaceful and quiet. Not so far out that you couldn’t arrange for some meals at some nice restaurants. Never physically spoke with anyone and booked through VRBO. The cottage was nice but could use a new couch. Wood stove sauna was a hit!"

"Such a unique, amazing stay. We are so happy we found this property for an early Thanksgiving getaway in Charlottesville to visit our family. The kitchen was stocked with enough pots and pans and appliances that it was perfect for making a full Thanksgiving meal. We loved it!"

"The apartment was spacious, super clean, and the host was nice and responsive. However, the kitchen is not super well equipped (for example there is only one mug, only one knife, no cutting boards, only one small pot and one small pan, etc.) and there are a list of rules that are not advertised when booking such as no alcohol, quiet hours, no eating in bed, taking shoes off at entrance etc. The check in process was ok except we did not get check in info until after 3 which caused some confusion....
