"Loved the room with Balcony with view of Rhine watching all the ships go by. Breakfast and lunch also very good. Walking distance to sightseeing boats. Recommend doing a day trip by boat to Bacharach and/ or St. Goar. Town very quiet compared to Rüdesheim. At least during week. "

"The reason I rented this room was that I was looking for a reasonable price, close to Rudesheim and I could sleep and shower. The Rudesheim Wine Festival was on during my stay and that pushed up prices in Rudesheim and Bingen (across the Rhein). The room worked for me. Assmannshausen sits with the Rhine River bluffs on both sides so it is a very pretty string. There isn’ t much more about Assmannshausen for me. However it is only 3 minutes by train to Rudesheim and you can buy a daily ticket...
