Unparalleled historical Aspect of Location: 5 minute walk to Acropolis, mt. Philopappou and Temple of Hephaestus. 10 minute walk to Plaka, Museum of Acropolis and Syntagma and Monastiraki. The house is located in a traditional functioning neighborhood. There is a traditional bakery, butcher shop and grocery within walking distance. Also numerous mini markets. Lovely 2BR in Athens
Excellent A/C! I loved the small touches, like a great espresso machine with a few pods to get us through the first night before heading to the market just a few blocks away. The balcony was also lovely, which overlooks the street and the park and kindergarten across the street. The washing machine was excellent since we had come from another city and needed to wash our clothes. This was my favorite VRBO from all the cities we toured on this vacation. Given its excellent location (close, but not too close to all the action) and the hospitable hosts, I would highly recommend this apartment!
