"The Grand Dame shows its age but the property is very well located among the highest homes on the hill side providing for excellent views of the mountains, lake, nearby castle and Annecy in the distance. The many bedrooms and bathrooms were impeccably clean. From the kitchen and master bedroom you will often see dozens of parapente gliders, many of which you can watch land just a 10 minute drive from the house . "Disappointed in the house, not what we had thought we were renting, A/C was hardly working in 36 degrees!. One of the bedrooms had a sofa bed, no air at all, could not open it. Washing machine not working, Oven not working and other things as well. Swimming pool was fine and as described, cleaned once we were there. Owner was informed and tried to get everything repaired while we were there, after4/5 days. We would not rent this property again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Villa, with a heated pool for the children (two girls aged 9 and 12), ping pong table and boule for entertainment. An outdoor grill, table outside (and in), parking is easy, lovely trails for running recommended by Paul. The villa is close to the town, just a short walk (15 mins downhill), where you have lovely boutique shops and restaurants. We also booked a canyoning trip. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Paul for being a great host."
