"Heritage Hotel Antique Split was a wonderful place. We stayed there three nights. We arrived by ferry at night- Jan was waiting and helped us get to the hotel. The dining area was very nice- and daily breakfast was delicious. The hotel staff were extremely helpful with ideas for exploring. They also helped us get transportation to the airport when we departed. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. "

"The perfect hosts and the perfect location. This family run hotel is such a gem. Located so close to the old own of Split its a great location to start exploring the beauty of the city. My room was clean, had all the amenities I needed and was just all around cosy. The owners will go out of their way to help as well and offer a transfer to and from the airport. "Roko was an incredible host and this property is exactly where you want to stay to be in the middle of all the action in Split. Walkable to absolutely everything. Yes it is on the main strip which gets busy in the day, but the suite itself is quiet and comfortable. Plus the rooftop terrace is absolutely amazing. Views of sunrise and sunset. "As a solo traveler this was a great location that not only felt safe but gave me time to recharge. The room was bigger than imagined (which is always plus) and despite being semi street level the windows are sound proof, with black out shutters. Small grocery store across the road and an easy walk to the main strip of Split. After leaving I rebooked another stay, high recommend. "

Pros 1) staff very friendly and helpful. 2) maids were excellent, room was also spotless. 3) general hotel was clean and well presented. 4) close to a small beach, although the beach was often crowded and the sea was quite shallow, if you like swimming it was possible to wade out 150m to the deaper water. 5) walkable distance to the old town, approx 15-20 min walk depending on your pace. 6) shops...
