"We booked this hotel at the last moment on our way back home. What a fantastic place. The level of service was some of the best we had seen for ages. The quality of food deserves a Mechlin star or two. In particular, and I’m guessing he was the head waiter helped us both with the menu without being condescending. His suggestions were spot on. "A lovely newly refurbished house. I loved the premium quality cotton sheets and duvet cover. A super kingsize bed, which was very comfortable. The breakfast was freshly squeezed orange juice( rare) bread, mini viennoiserie and home made jams. The hosts were very friendly and spoke English. The village is very peaceful, and the countryside all around is lovely. A great place to stay"

"Room was like a dormitory! Very dated facilities that are in need of modernisation. Very expensive for what it is. Disappointed that the swimming pool was not open - it was not noted on the website about being closed over winter. Also disappointed that as guests we would have to pay €6 per person for the mini golf - extortionate price. Good meal at the restaurant though."

"This was a beautiful place to stay. The area is very picturesque. The host was the friendliest lady you could ask for. We were given a full tour of the accomodation and shown how things worked.
