"I didn’t realize that the property was far from the strip. Expedia said 18 min walk but the walk is down many streets. There are no restaurants nearby, we had to hop in the car to get anywhere. It was a close drive to carvoeiro downtown and a good location to do hiking but everything must be accessed with a car. "We had a comfortable 1-bedroom apartment with a view of the garden and well kept pool (sadly not s the right time of year to enjoy it). It was an advantage to be able to prepare breakfasts there, for other meals we sampled some of the many local restaurants. The front room has Air Conditioning with “Heat” mode which was needed.
