"Excellent location with outstanding views and environment. Accommodation is excellent for what it offers, eg. quiet, private, comfortable. Would recommend at least a couple of nights stay. Come prepared for self catering as the town of Mansfield is at times very busy. It’s not 5 star, the cabin was clean and adequate in its offerings."

"A small cottage located in an ideal spot, easy water access for a boat, backing boat into driveway is do-able, has simple yet adequate facilities that "get you by", will be back in time to come!"

It would be a great place to stay at other times of the year as well We very much enjoyed Maggie’s baked treats and the Strawbale cottage holiday vibe. A bit warm because of a couple of very hot days so another fan or aircon would be great."

"The cottage was very well kept and really comfortable! The owners were very welcoming and great at communicating. One thing to note is that the mobile coverage in the area isn't great, and to access any nearby sights you have to drive. Overall we found the stay really comfortable and the hosts were lovely!"

"Hosts were amazing. Freshly baked bread on arrival. Eggs, milk, homemade biscuits jam, marmalade, lemon butter & butter. Selection of fruit in fridge. Sunday morning Maggie the hostess with the mostest brought me fresh baked raspberry & coconut muffins. Very relaxing place. Thank you Maggie I will be back Kiri xx M"
