The entire Bathurst region is a place of colour, heritage, nature and activity, from the pretty village of Trunkey Creek in the south, through to the Hill End Historic Site in the north.
Some know the city for the famous Bathurst 1000, where drivers carve up Mount Panorama racing circuit!
And while it’s hard to miss the beautiful Machattie Park in the city centre, by digging deeper into some of the park’s hidden gems, you’ll find historical connections right before your eyes.
Bathurst will also surprise you with its connections to Australia’s Federation, a beautiful Japanese garden, or Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, one of the oldest in NSW. Mount Panorama is just over 1km away.
