"Second or third stay at the Keep, previously in the tower suite, now a flying stop so a "basic" downstairs room. Despite being street facing at ground level it's absolutely quiet. I live on a busy main road & this room was so much quieter than home. Palatial room with perfectly comfortable bed, large shower, microwave, fridge, etc. No staff on site most of the time which always makes me a little nervous, but I've never needed them, & the price reflects it. If I want 24hr staffing I'm welcome...

"I went to book into the hotel and it was closed, dark and empty. I tried to contact them on both numbers provided. Nothing. No answer, no call back. I tried all day and it was so frustrating and worrying as we had no idea where we were going to sleep that night. I left it until 5pm and then found another place to stay. "The cottage has all the facilities you might need, and the Welcome Box of goodies was a nice touch. The heating came on morning and evening and warmed the cottage very well. We didn't need to use the log fire. The Spar shop, located a minute's walk away, was very useful. I can recommend this accommodation to anyone thinking about a holiday to short break in Dorset. "
