Perfect Little Cabin
We had an amazing stay at “The Big Catch” for a short getaway. The cabin was perfect for two of us, plenty of space, all the essentials we needed. The bed does need a new mattress, but after all the hiking we did, we still slept wonderfully after some time in the hot tub. We are definitely considering coming back! We didn’t receive any communication regarding check-in until I reached out as we were heading down. The staff are super friendly and very accommodating, but if you’re going to be checking in after 6:00pm, be sure to let them know so they can set up a late check-in.

New River Gorge Visit
Very good location to see the area sites. Cabin was very clean with basic utensils and such. The bed was horrible , needs a new mattress , I slept in the also uncomfortable reclining chair. The couch was no better , also very uncomfortable to sit and read or watch a little TV. The hot tub on the deck was very nice and we took advantage of it ! It is a nice cabin in a nice enclave , quite and peaceful . As I said the place was very clean but needs a bit of comfort as I stated.

Hiking Getaway!
My husband and I had a great time at this cabin. The check in and check out process was very easy. The cabin was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed spending time on both the front and back porches in the evening. The location was great and we were able to easily explore different trails throughout the New River Gorge area.

Family Ski Trip
We enjoyed this great little cabin in the woods for our 2 day/3 night family ski trip. We loved having the hot tub to warm up in. The kitchen was also a plus. The cabin is convenient to Winterplace, restaurants, & groceries. The only negative is the mattress for the pullout couch bed but that’s the way most couch beds are. Overall, it was a great cabin that was clean & comfortable & we’d definitely stay again!
