The creek below is great for a dip, and the inland blue whole is an easy 15min stroll down the road (costs 4usd per person to enter) for more swimming. Cabins are rustic but clean and tastefully decorated. As someone not used to the humidity I would have loved the option of AC, lots of fans in the cabin but they don't do much in 30 Celsius. "Dream Valley was beautiful. Stayed in a King room on the river and watched the parrots in the morning and listened to the howler monkeys. We would take a dip in the pool after a full day of activities. Anderson was awesome:). The only thing they could not accommodate us with was a massage. I guess you need to book way in advance. But not a deal breaker. We would definitely go back."

"Receipt from Expedia stated ' check in open 10 am onwards'. Arrived by taxi at 10. Whole place locked up and deserted with sign saying ' back at six'. Found another hotel but el ray was very resistant to refund. Tried hard to keep my money only gave in after heavy pressure from Expedia customer service. In addition hotel is bizarrely located out in a suburban street near to absolutely no amenities....all things considered ASTONISHED this place still in business "
