"This was a 1900 hotel with heaps of character. It had on-site parking, a restaurant which was full the first night so had to go elsewhere and very limited options. Was a basic room with a hand held shower over the bath. Enjoyed our short stay in the Parc setting allowing us to enjoy the surrounding area."

"Dans le village médiaval de La Garde-Guérin, l'auberge (monument historique) est un lieu à part. La chambre quoique petite était très jolie, confortable, fonctionnelle. L'escalier en colimaçon pour y accéder est délicat avec une valise mais le patron, toujours aimable, est là pour aider. La cour intérieure, la salle de restaration, tout le cadre est là pour une plongée dans la Lozère d'autrefois. La cuisine est bonne même si l'on aimerait y trpouver plus de produits et de spécialités locales...

"We were an extended family - grandparents,parents, children and teenagers. We travelled by train and had no car. The house is spacious - plenty of room for all. Great kitchen and dining spaces. Superb shops for all needs, especially lots of organic and local farm produce. Wonderful wild swimming and energetic walks around Mt Lozere. Easy train travel to Nimes, Villefort and surrounding villages. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

"Gîte très propre, très agréable. Siméon a été très accueillant à notre arrivée et nous a conseillé des balades. Le gîte est situé sur les hauteurs du hameau avec une belle vue sur les Cévennes. (je conseille de vous garer sur le parking en bas de la route). "Rather unconventional reception (there was none per-we) but delightful stay in this small family hotel. Very comfortable room with high tech shower, comfy bed and great linen. Breakfast at the same table as all other guests was another interesting twist, but delightful choices with home made breads, pancakes, jams and the wisest choice of teas I have ever seen!
