Awesome spot for large group retreats!
What a beautiful location! Convenient for large parties, great room for dining and entertainment! Access to Lake Monroe, hiking trails, and a nice restaurant (killer Bloody Marys and nice breakfast).

Excellent
There were 17 people that stayed at the house, 5 different families, 9 adults and 8 children. Ages ranged from 3 months old to 65. It was a perfect set up so everyone could have their own space and bathroom. Very clean. Beautiful setting! Very pleased!

Happy Campers (Minus the camping)
We rented the Lodge for a weekend to have a fun staycation. This place surpassed all our expectations. The main dining area has a wall of windows with an incredible view of Lake Monroe. We had family over and we were all able to comfortably sit for dinner. The kids loved the massive bedrooms & the hot tub! There was plenty of room for dance parties, building forts and crafts! The den provided a cozy ambience with the electric fireplace. We cozied up with a bottle of wine to watch our favorite show! If you’re looking for a nice getaway, the lodge is definitely your place to stay! We will stay again!

Perfect for a large family
Celebrated our family Christmas with our 5 grown children and their families. The home fit us perfectly. Each family had their own large room with it's own bathroom, which is important with a large number of young grandchildren. It's difficult to tell in the listing, but we had our own separate apartment suite that was attached to the main house. It was a welcome sanctuary after a long day of togetherness. Plenty of beds and rooms to gather. The host was amazing! Extremely helpful accommodating to our requests. The view from the home is spectacular! It seems remote, but is really close to everything Bloomington has to offer. Can't say enough good things. Everyone in our group loved the home. Thank you Jessica!

Family Vaca
The lodge had a fantastic configuration for a family stay with children, adults and seniors. There were plenty of towels, bedding, kitchen utensils, etc. Loved the fire pit and hot tub and common areas. All 16 of us could eat together, play together, and hike together. Great space!

Weekend at Scenic View
Great place to stay in a beautiful area. Easily holds a crowd of people comfortably. Jenny was a spectacular host. Quick to respond, friendly and very understanding. Would highly recommend staying at Scenic View. The restaurant is an added plus. Great food and awesome service!

Wonderful stay
This lodge is perfect for families and groups of friends. It's close to different hikes, and the lake. The food at the restaurant is so yummy. The hosts were so hospitable and responded quickly to our inquiries. Can't wait to visit again.

Plenty of space and beautiful view
The house has 5 areas with a bathroom where different family groups can sleep. It also has 3 refrigerators. The view of the lake and trees is beautiful and peaceful. There are some places you have to go up and down steps to get to them and three of the bedroom groupings are upstairs.

Our Pi Phi reunion
We all loved this Lodge. The View is spectacular. The accommodations were very comfortable for all of us. We enjoyed the space sooo much that we chose to stay at the Lodge our full time. The food catered in by Scenic View was amazing. Highly recommend this Lodge in Bloomington. Large groups are very comfortable and well appointed. Again, the view is spectacular. The sunrise can take your breath away. Great way to start a day. Great place to gather.
