"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"We had a great relaxing break at Emma’s cottage. The location is good with plenty of options for restaurants and places to visit. The pool is a real bonus and Emma is a fantastic host always on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. We will definitely be coming back at some point in the future as we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended place to stay"

"The property could be amazing and is in the best location but it was very dirty on arrival and one of the toilets did not flush. I would say in its present state, it is not fit for rental. The beds had plastic protectors which were very sweaty! The bathrooms are quite disgusting and one of the showers was actually just a trickle. Despite this the location is fab and it is very quiet. We enjoyed our stay which was helped by the weather and fact it was a family get together. The service fee should...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very well equipped and beautifully presented. It is situated in a sunny private garden just perfect for breakfast on the terrace and outside dining. Marie-Line is a wonderful host. She made us feel very welcome. We had a fantastic holiday. 5⭐️"

"We had a great week and this house, it’s a fantastic property well equipped for 3 families with 7 children all under the age of 13. The terrace and pool area were perfect for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine. We had a slight issue with the freezer that was dealt very promptly by the helpful and friendly owners. Would definitely recommend this as a place for friends and family for a get together."

"The gite was lovely and a lot bigger than we expected, but there were only 4 of us who visited. The gite had everything we needed, and the view was lovely - across the road was a vineyard, but the gite is on a road where, although cars are few and far between, they do drive far too fast. We had a lovely few days at the beginning of our holiday but on the fourth day a taxi drove into us at speed (not near the gite, on the way to Jonzac) and the hire car we were in was flipped over and ended up...

The restaurant in Bages was a 5 minute walk and was lovely also although unless you have a car (or arrange a taxi which can be quite expensive we foune) there are not so many options around other than that but the hotel itself is nice enough to want to stay! "

Great hotel, great staff and own winery near.

"Great stay. Recommend this hotel if you are traveling to the left bank. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Great breakfast in a beautiful room. They also own the winery down the road 3 meters and can arrange a 35 euro tour and wine tasting. Pierre was our guide and gave us a fantastic tour. "

"Chateau Pierre de Montignacer is a lovely place, highly recommended! Marie and Romain are lovely and friendly people who put the well-being of their guests first - great level of service. Everywhere is clean and tidy. Beautiful surroundings, healthy and delicious breakfast, - and not least wonderful wines. Wine tasting tour is a good experience. A place you want to return to."
