"A great smallish townhouse in the centre of Bramtome and very well appointed. Near to the shops and trails if you are biking. ( Use Kamoot for the trails) The steps to the property from the street were a bit challenging with heavy e-bikes but managed OK . "

The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. "Nous avons été déçu de notre gîte. Les alentours sont mal entretenus, l’impression d’abandon. Dans la chambre n°3, le matelas est plus large que le sommier. La cuisine: manque de vaisselle, d’ustensiles de cuisine, de bols pour déjeuner. Des plats rouillés. Pas de vraie cafetière… il faut des dosettes senseo. Manque aspirateur, seau et serpillère pour faire le ménage. Sur la terrasse, les lattes en bois se soulèvent, le salon de jardin est vieillissant, odeur de fosse septique."

"We stayed in pillac with 10 adults from 74 to 34, and 9 children aged between 2 and 18 and what a holiday we had! The house is perfectly set up for family groups as each lot can take a "wing". A really well equipped kitchen enabled us to have wonderful meals at home... meat cooked by the boys and wonderful salads cooked by Barbara's friend. Barbara was super helpful and very easy to contact the whole time. The village was gorgeous but tiny..... about a 10 minute drive for any grocery shopping....

"Parking was difficult, bedrooms tired but adequate as we only stayed one night, no kettle for tea or coffee. Restaurant was basic but the staff were very friendly and spoke English. Périgueux was a very nice picturesque place to visit."

"I’ve stayed here twice, my only issue with this properly is the code/pin entry to the building & rooms, as sometimes they fail you can’t get in. I arrived at 2pm, but the desk is technically open at 4pm. There is a machine outside to check you in if the desk is closed. 1st booking was direct & received the codes. 2nd time via Expedia my booking ref number didn’t work & we nearly had to wait, was almost stuck. Luckily a guy from outside let us in with his code & called Sabrina. Whom opened the desk, we paid our taxes and she gave us our codes. The reception isn’t open 24/7. Sabrina & her team were very friendly, warm & made a huge difference as the first time there was a lady (April 2024) who was unfriendly and unhelpful… I paid for a late check out but was told on my last day, you can’t have it as the hotel is full. No refund of the extra fee. Her favourite word was NO! I’m not a fan of the code/pin entry system because, the first time the codes failed (I booked 3 rooms) I couldn’t even get back into the hotel. Luckily a guest came back and held the door open. I would have been stuck outside it was around 9pm. The codes can also fail on the bedrooms, if you enter quickly after a short period of time, you just have to wait for a bit and re-enter and it should work. Location is great for me, rooms are basic, pillows are average, bed is comfortable. Shower pressure is very good. Parking is free which is amazing. All of this is reflected in the price."
