Bed and Breakfast in Breaston

"A good old style pub with lots of little rooms. Free parking at the back. A few outdoor spaces with tables and chairs. Good sized clean rooms. Breakfast was very good, small choice but great good english breakfast. Only downside was the shower in our room was against the window and due to water running onto the window it was in a poor state as was some of the tiling."

"£ for £ this is the best value hotel I have stayed in the Lake District The overall hotel was very good we had a fantastic lake view room and the quality of the food was excellent. The hotel is extremely dog friendly whilst still maintaining a dog free restaurant. This is definitely on my return list "

"We found the Fountain a quirky B&B which actually provide breakfast! Our room was a reasonable size with 2 single beds with a view over the fountain. The room was clean and beds comfortable although the stairs up to the room were quite steep and narrow so we left our luggage in the car and only took what was needed for the one night stay. We had trouble with the shower and would rate this as average."

"Stayed here before a track event at Donington and honestly it is one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in. Beverley is a wonderful host and from the moment she greeted us was full of advice, and tips to make our stay more comfortable. The bed was so comfortable I crashed out and didn’t stir at all. As others have stated everywhere was immaculately clean. "

"The pillow cases and duvet covers smell so bad. Nobody cares if you are sleeping or not because someone was playing music at 1am and there is another guy making calls and running up and down the house 2am. "

Unfortunately the room we stayed in was right at the front off the hotel it did have modern double glazed windows but they were useless the traffic outside never stopped until after midnight and restarted around 4 am.I am quite a heavy sleeper but this had to be the worst night’s sleep I’ve experienced at a hotel, the bed looked lovely but we couldn’t turn over...
