Stunning family home with spectacular views

Perched high on the hill overlooking the Blackwood valley to hills beyond sits spectacular “Aruma” described by some of our visitors as a touch of Tuscany.
Our home was totally re built in 2020 to create one of Bridgetown’s most impressive homes incorporating expansive open living areas and gourmet kitchen extending onto a full length deck taking in the properties breathtaking views.
Four of our bedrooms have hotel grade king size beds that can be split into 8 king singles to suit guests configuration requirements. Multiple bathrooms all offer designer quality fittings and those with baths have garden or valley views.
Situated on 10 acres of farm land and orchards, you will be entertained by our resident guinea fowl ( the girls) or relax watching our lawn mowing sheep. In season you are welcome to help yourself to our “fruit bowl” orchard or enjoy our ever expanding garden or drinks by the dam.

Very impressed with the accomodation, had everything we needed as a family of 5. Great communication with owners. Great quality, comfy beds and lounge area. The only suggestion I would make would be to have some sort of shade over the deck/pool area (we were there on a 37 degree day though!). would definately recommend others to stay and will be back to stay again. A top property in beautiful Bridgetown
Clean and comfortable and only a few minutes drive from the heart of Bridgetown, this home is well fitted out with everything you need for a relaxing break. As a family of eight (two married couples, two single ladies, and two teenagers) there were sufficient bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen was very well appointed and it was entertaining to watch the antics of the resident sheep in the orchard from the deck each day. All in all a wonderful break and would happily stay there again.

Mum’s weekend away & 40th.
We had the best time at this property. The house was very modern & equipped with everything you could possibly need. The setting was just beautiful & the weather happened to be perfect for the three days we were there. We loved being able to go on bush walks, just taking in the views from the balcony or just sitting in front of the fireplace and chatting. The photos really don’t do it this place justice, I loved everything about it and hope I can come back again in the future. Thanks John for a great stay!!

Bridgetown Views
This is an excellent property with outstanding views and a beautiful private location close to town. Our only criticism is it being advertised as 5 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms. This was something we were specifically required due to our numbers. However, the 5th room was tiny and the sofa bed was not comfortable for a couple. There were only three bathrooms, with an outdoor shower (no good in winter) and extra toilets. Also, there we could not access the wifi due to a password change (although that wasn't a huge problem, it was a little annoying). This all said we would certainly stay again but perhaps not with the two teens so that the adults could have all the good rooms!

The house was lovely, in fact was well stocked as well,we should have been more clearer when we said there was 8 adults as two of the party were not couples so we had to improvise with the bedding, but worked out well The bbq was quite dirty and took a lot of cleaning The yard area was very overgrown and a little intimidating to try and get to the dams We were not quite sure with the sheep as the gate was open when we arrived so we shut it as per Johns instructions, however the sheep can get under the gate and could not get back so we reopened the gate Overall though it was a wonderful place There were a lot of paper wasps all around us on the verandah which was a little nervy for some

Bridgetown's Finest
Our group was made up of 4 x Adults, 4 Teens and 2 School Age Children. The house is very spacious and we fitted in with ease. There was 4 x "King" Bed Rooms and one separate bedroom with a double pull out. The Kitchen was huge and island bench perfect. The 3 x Bathrooms were very well appointed with a modern fitout, obviously completed recently. There was 4 x toilets. The new swimming pool received a workout from all the grand kids, who enjoyed cooling down. The gardens and orchard were magnificent and some of the fruit was ready to pick. The sheep were inquisitive until they worked out we were strangers. All in all, this is a perfect, high end holiday home and I would recommend it to anyone. The over all fitout is first class and obviously expensive. Communication with John was easy and nothing was too hard.

Bliss
This house was stunning and the location was beautiful. Massive kitchen, enormous primary with ensuite. Lots of room for everyone. The balcony was our favourite, looking at the valley, the sheep and at night listening to the frogs in the distance call to each other. Bliss !
