Absolutely loved our stay here. Property was amazing and really loved the kitchen! Ray White who managed the property were amazing to deal with and went above and beyond for multiple of our requests including early check in and late check out. Would love to come back

Property was nice, unfortunately there was only half a roll of toilet paper which wasn’t a nice surprise at 10pm first night. The water jug was broken which was full of glass inside the bottle, it looked like ice but under further inspection it was glass 😳 my wife almost drank some!!! I would definitely stay there again, it was just a few little things that could happen at any apartment.

Old, tired and dated in many ways.
Our early check in request was forgotten. We had to chase up early access, which was thankfully forthcoming. There is no lift, so with 3 stories to climb, it made for a tedious exercise only suitable for the fit and able. The bed was falling to pieces and underneath the bed was not clean. The shower/bath was mouldy. The deck parquetry flooring was falling to pieces and this made it dangerous to walk on. Hammer drilling in a neighbouring apartment beginning on the first afternoon and again on the Saturday morning, gave us reason to vacate and get out and about. As did the neighbour's children early starts on both mornings. This was due to the twin apartment access door being so thin. It may as well be a curtain, as it lets all sounds through easily. The early morning shower water noise coming from the next door apartment should be addressed. This is an easy fix. The light white curtain, without a blind, added to our early rise. No chance of a sleep in here. There was no ironing board, just as well, as the iron had a thick layer of burnt on melted plastic making it unusable. The clock had a flat battery. All in all, it was a stressful time as we prepared for a wedding event on the afternoon of our arrival without even a tea bag for a cuppa to settle us down.

Ok property, but all a bit 'tired'. Only two coathangers. Spare pillow unusable due to no polliw cases. Cooker dirty. Nice views and friendly help from Chris when the power went off.

We did enjoy our stay on Straddle. Looks like The Islander apartment 23a has had some modernisation. However a trip to Kmart or an online order to purchase some items would be recommended. Things I would buy would firstly be new pillows. There is a new washing machine there, but no usable clothes airer. No hair dryer. Purchase new coffee cups (one chipped) Only one drinking glass. No tea towel. These are inexpensive items that would certainly improve the rental stay.

Had to defrost fridge on arrival as it could not be closed - the freezer compartment ice was so thick. Some pillow cases stained. Outside furniture set is a potential hazard - rusted and flimsy. Clothes horse on balcony broken. One bedside light needs new bulb. Aircon needs a clean - very dusty with musty smell, not usable.

Renters need to know it is a three storey walk-up property. The unit is quite nice except for the window furnishings which are growing mould. There needs to be more information about what the unit has and hasn't got. Very good location!

Take your own bedding!
The apartment is good, the complex is good (pool area etc. clean and well maintained). However, the bed comes with a doona without a cover. The doona had blood stains on it. Pillows were lumpy and the spares in the smelly cupboard had no pillowcases and were very stained.

Check in was easy, place was exactly as was said online.. previous reviews mentioned some minor issues with their stay but when you compare this stay with the island vibe, it really is on island time & everything is very chill (don’t compare it to staying at resorts/hotels in Brisbane city). The apartment is on the top floor & the best spot in the resort. Only issue was if you didn’t have a car, getting the keys to the realestate at the end would be a huge effort. Dishes etc are all required that the people staying clean & be responsible so leave it as you would like it basically 😊 awesome spot for a couple if you have brought your car

The place was clean and comfortable. It had everything you need for cooking. It was only walking distance to the bowling club and the beach. It was a little disappointing that the place was a little run down. It needs a little TLC such as fixing the front door, difficulty with back door clip, couldnt sit in the verandah area as table and chairs were rusty and wooden floor had begun to disintegrate. Otherwise, it was a lovely week.

Nice studio unit in great location
Modern unit with everything we needed. In larger complex with well maintained gardens and recently renovated pool. There’s a few flights of stairs to get up and down but that didn’t bother us. Only one minor complaint the owner could splash out on some blockout curtains!
